This workshop runs in Bristol, Cheltenham, Swindon, Thornbury and online via Zoom. Don't see the venue or date you want? Drop us a message and we'll let you know what's next.

Is this for you?

This workshop is for small business owners and marketers who already understand what SEO is, have probably done some of it themselves, and now find the goalposts have moved. You've heard the new acronyms (AEO, GEO, AIO, LLMO) and you're not sure which ones matter, which ones are buzzwords, and what you should actually be doing differently in your content. You don't want a beginner's guide. You want to know what's changed, why, and what to do about it before the end of the month.

Available in person at our four West of England venues, or as a live online workshop. Same content, same trainer, same small-group format. And, given the topic, guaranteed current as of the day it runs.

What we'll cover

Ninety minutes covering exactly what's changed in search and what it means for your business:

  • The acronym landscape (SEO, AEO, GEO, AIO, LLMO) what each one actually means, and (more usefully) how much they overlap in practice
  • Why most of the "do this for AEO, do that for GEO" advice you've read is overcomplicating something simpler than it looks
  • The published updates and current best-practice thinking that genuinely matter. Not a five-discipline deep dive, but a single coherent picture of how to be findable in 2026
  • How AI search engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude) decide what to cite, and what your site needs in place for them to pick you
  • Schema markup, structured data, and the on-page changes most likely to move the needle for a small business this quarter
  • What we expect to change in the coming weeks, and how to stay ahead of it without spending all day reading SEO blogs

What you'll walk away with

By the end of the 90 minutes, you'll have:

  • A clear, current understanding of how search actually works in 2026
  • A prioritised list of changes to make to your own website, written in the room
  • A simple checklist for evaluating whether any future SEO advice you read is worth following
  • Course notes you'll actually refer back to
  • A certificate of completion

About the trainer

Nick is the founder of CoMagnify. He's been creating content for brands since before social media took off. He spearheaded the Becks Offbeat campaign in 2008, and in the 18 years since has worked closely with international brands including Virgin, SharkNinja and Overboard. He's also a working photographer with IPA, TIFA and BPA awards to his name, and has guided small businesses to significant growth alongside the brand work. His background spans broadcast and documentary production at the BBC, National Geographic and Discovery, a range of disciplines that informs how he thinks about narrative, audience and storytelling.

Nick has been advising businesses on SEO since back in the days of keyword-stuffing (remember that?). He's watched as the search engines have become more and more complex. He thinks every algorithm update has been overwhelmingly positive for small businesses, and most of the panic about AI search is missing the same point. He'll explain why.

Common questions

Do I need an existing website to get value from this workshop?

Yes, most of the practical changes we discuss apply to existing websites. If you don't have a site yet, our half-day Introduction to SEO/GEO/AEO is a better starting point because it covers what to build in from day one.

What if I run a B2B business?

The principles work for any business that wants to be found in search. The examples on the day will be tailored to who's in the room.

Can I bring a colleague?

Each booking is for one place. If you'd like to bring a colleague, book a second place. It's a per-attendee cap on group size, not a per-business one.

What kit do I need to bring?

For in-person: a notebook is plenty. For livestream: a working webcam and a quiet space. We'll do the rest.

Will this be recorded?

No, and there's a deliberate reason. Digital marketing moves fast. Algorithm changes, platform updates and new tools appear weekly. A recording made six months ago is out of date by the time you watch it. Every CoMagnify workshop is current as of the day it runs, and we spend time covering not just what works now but what we expect to change in the coming weeks. You can't get that from a recording.

I'd prefer training tailored to my business specifically. Can you do that?

Yes, see our Bespoke Training page.

Cancellation policy

Plans change. We get it. Cancel up to 7 days before the workshop for a full refund. Within 7 days, we'll happily transfer your booking to a future date at no extra cost. Just email info@comagnify.com.

If we have to cancel a workshop ourselves (rare, but possible), we'll refund you in full and give you first option on the next available date.
