Privacy Statement
Last updated: May 2026
This statement explains how CoMagnify Ltd (“CoMagnify”, “we”, “us”, “our”) handles your personal data when you use our website or interact with our services. We've aimed to write it in plain English and to be specific about what we actually do.
1. Who we are
CoMagnify Ltd is a UK-registered company (Company No. 17104119) providing in-person and online marketing training for small and medium-sized businesses. CoMagnify Ltd is the data controller for personal data collected through this website and our business activities.
Registered office: 93 Badger Road, Thornbury, BS35 1AB, UK
Email: info@comagnify.com
Telephone: 01454 406006
2. What personal data we collect
Data you provide directly
When you book a workshop, sign up for our newsletter, request a free taster, enquire about bespoke training, or contact us, we may collect:
- Your name
- Email address
- Telephone number (where you provide it)
- Business name and type (where relevant)
- Details of your enquiry or training interests
- Payment information (processed securely by Stripe via TicketTailor — we do not see or store your card details)
Data collected automatically
When you visit our website, our analytics provider Plausible records anonymous, aggregated information about how the site is used:
- Pages visited and time spent on the site
- Referring website or search term
- Device type and country (broad geographic level only)
Plausible does not set cookies and does not collect any personal information about visitors. We chose it specifically because of its privacy-friendly approach.
3. How we use your personal data
We use the personal data we collect to:
- Respond to your enquiries
- Process your workshop booking and send you confirmation and joining instructions
- Send you our newsletter, where you have given your consent
- Improve our website and the content of our workshops
- Comply with our legal and regulatory obligations
- Send post-workshop satisfaction surveys (optional, easy to ignore)
We do not use your data for targeted advertising. We do not run ad tracking on this website.
4. Legal basis for processing
Under UK GDPR, we rely on the following legal bases:
- Contract performance — to fulfil a workshop booking or training engagement you have made with us
- Legitimate interests — to respond to enquiries, improve our services, and operate our business effectively (where these interests don't override your rights)
- Consent — for newsletter signup. You can withdraw consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email we send
- Legal obligation — where we are required to process data to comply with applicable law (for example, retaining transaction records for tax purposes)
5. Who we share your data with
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the following types of service provider, each chosen carefully and bound by UK GDPR-compliant data processing terms:
- Vercel — our website hosting provider (US-based, with UK GDPR-compliant data transfer arrangements)
- TicketTailor — our workshop booking platform (UK-based). TicketTailor handles workshop signup, ticketing, and booking confirmation emails
- Stripe — our payment processor, accessed via TicketTailor (US-based, UK GDPR-compliant). Stripe handles all payment card data; we do not see or store card details
- MailerLite — our email marketing platform (EU-hosted). MailerLite stores newsletter subscriber data and sends our marketing emails
- Resend — our transactional email service (US-based, UK GDPR-compliant). Resend handles delivery of contact form notifications, bespoke training enquiries, and the automatic acknowledgement emails sent in reply
- Vimeo — our video hosting service (US-based, UK GDPR-compliant). Vimeo hosts our workshop intro and testimonial videos. Note that Vimeo may set cookies if you click play on a video
- Plausible — our analytics service (EU-based, in Germany). Plausible records anonymous, aggregated visitor statistics with no personal data and no cookies
- Zoom — our livestream and online meeting platform (US-based, UK GDPR-compliant). Zoom is used for online workshops and free taster sessions
- Professional advisors — such as accountants or legal advisors, only where genuinely necessary
- Regulatory or law enforcement authorities — only where required by law
6. International data transfers
Some of the services we use process data outside the UK and EU, primarily in the United States. Where this happens, we rely on UK GDPR-approved transfer mechanisms — typically the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses — to ensure your data is protected to the standard required by UK law.
7. How long we keep your data
- Enquiry and contact form data: up to 2 years from your last contact, unless a booking follows
- Workshop booking and payment records: 7 years (required for UK tax purposes)
- Bespoke training engagement records: 7 years (required for UK tax purposes)
- Newsletter subscriber data: until you unsubscribe
- Plausible analytics data: retained indefinitely as anonymous, aggregated statistics — no personal data is retained
We review the personal data we hold periodically and securely delete data that is no longer required.
8. Cookies
This website uses very few cookies. We've made deliberate choices to minimise cookie use:
- Plausible analytics sets no cookies
- We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any advertising tracking
- Vimeo embeds may set cookies, but only after you click play on a video. We use Vimeo's “Do Not Track” mode to minimise this
- TicketTailor may set session cookies during the booking process to remember your selections
Because we don't set tracking or advertising cookies, you won't see a cookie consent banner on this site. See our Cookie Policy for more detail.
9. Your rights under UK GDPR
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- Erasure — request deletion of your data, in certain circumstances
- Restriction — ask us to limit how we use your data
- Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
- Objection — object to our use of your data for direct marketing or legitimate interests processing
- Withdraw consent — at any time, where we rely on consent as our legal basis
To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@comagnify.com. We will respond within one calendar month. There is no charge for exercising your rights in most circumstances.
10. Data security
We take the security of your personal data seriously. The services we use (Vercel, TicketTailor, Stripe, MailerLite, Resend, Vimeo, Plausible, Zoom) all maintain their own security standards and certifications appropriate to handling personal data.
While we take all reasonable precautions, no internet transmission is completely secure. If you have concerns about the security of information you have shared with us, please contact us at info@comagnify.com.
11. Children's privacy
Our services are aimed at small business owners, marketers, and professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 16. If you believe a child has provided us with their data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
12. Changes to this Privacy Statement
We may update this Privacy Statement from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. The most current version will always be available on our website. We encourage you to review it periodically. Material changes will be communicated to newsletter subscribers by email.
